@rvan Now I understand. The "warning" is only alerting or reminding you that it needs your permission to access parts of your phone in order to do its job. It is nothing to be concerned about, so go ahead and install it.

@joão-fornaza With Xiaomi you have to use a Windows PC and use the Mi Flash tool to flash back to stock ROM. Word of warning with Xiaomi, DO NOT LOCK the bootloader once it is unlocked. You have a great chance of bricking the device.

You can head to https://devices.ubuntu-touch.io/ to see a list of supported devices and their progress. If you want to get your hands dirty, you can try and port for your device. @kaveman You need to use installer 0.8.6 (there is an issue with .7) or earlier and it's best to have 15 sec adb from xda developers on your windows pc. Please remove all others first. The OPO needs dev mode on, usb debugging on, mtp trabsfer and an unlocked bootloader ( the installer may do this ifnot instructions are on the net) and you need to accept the fastboot/adb connection on your phone ( there will be a popup window on the phone). Then just follow the installer instructions. I would chose the wipe and bootstrap options when given. You are best flashing from the original device OS so the partitions are not altered. Try a few cables as they can be a big issue and good luck. It's late forme so I will be back tomorrow. @ganzredmi4 Hi, same xiaomi 4X, just installed today. Had a first unsuccessful attempt with the same description of events as you. At the secound and successful attempt, i simply waited, quite long, for the device to finalize its complet setup. I msy have waited for more than ten minutes. And yes, it tells you that it is going to reboot, after all the completion of the process. Be well, peace

@yelpare3 If your Nexus 5 Wi-Fi connection is not stable or won't connect at all, there's a few things you can do: toggle Airplane Mode on and off, forget and reconnect to your Wi-Fi network, toggle mobile data on and off, or reboot your phone.
